Emerge Queue installs first labour centre Qmatic system – Nationwide rollout to follow
Emerge Queue will help optimise service at Labour Centres countrywide by installing Qmatic queue management systems into 126 branches across all nine provinces over the next three months.
The first of 30 service-enhancing installations kicked off at the Concillium Labour Centre in Pretoria on 7 November and successfully went live on 19 November, when installations at the remaining sites also commenced. The centre was fitted out with a Qmatic Orchestra system in a distributed (offline) environment. A similar system will be rolled out around the country.
“We are pleased to a play a part in helping to improve service delivery to the South African public,” says Emerge Queue’s Managing Director, Eugene Swanepoel. “The government sector is under increasing pressure to meet citizens’ growing needs. We believe that this world-class system, which has been tailored to meet local requirements, is the optimal solution to what is a global challenge in the public service sector.”
Emerge Queue’s installation partner of choice, Efficient Support Services, helped make the pilot installation possible and it is the first queue management system in South Africa to include a handheld mobile ticket dispenser. This innovative solution ensures a seamless journey for citizens by issuing tickets to those waiting in the queue before the branch opens.“Hard work awaits over the next three months. But connecting people to services is what makes us tick here at Emerge Queue, so we very much look forward to the journey ahead,” says Eugene.
